Into the Double Digits..
As of Friday, Josh and I have entered the double digits in our countdown until the wedding!
The number one question i get now a days concerning the wedding is... Are you stressed with the planning??
I am proud to say that I am extremely comfortable with the planning process and and not stressed at all!! This is because most everything is planned and done thanks to wonderful families and fiances! I think this double digit phenomenon is simply an eye opener. i cant believe in that short of time i will be married, graduated, moved to a new city within the week and begun a new job. Talk about making major changes in a short time!......
I am moving from my bubble of college into the real world where .....
.....you are unable to skip classes because you "dont feel well"
..... Your day has to start before 4 pm, no questions asked
.... I will no longer live with 100 + girls, in a house full of estrogen.
....I will live with one (wonderful) boy
.... I no longer will be able to walk to class, i will embrace a 45+ minute commute in the busiest
city in the country when it comes to traffic
.... My home will no longer be cleaned for me, my trash will not be taken out ( unless Josh jumps at that opportunity), the carpets will only get cleaned if i vacuum them!
.... The term "shower shoes" will no longer be a word in my vocabulary
.... My bedtime will be around 10 pm instead of 1pm, with the number of times i socially go out
drastically decreasing
.... My dinner will consist of me and my TV instead of me and 25 of my girlfriends
..... I will never again have to climb up to the "top bunk" before i go to bed
.... Getting ready for the day in the dark because your roommates are sleeping will never be done again
.... My girlfriends and I will gain a new appreciation for free long distance calls
and so many more changes to come that are exciting!!!

Adventures in Bloomington
After realizing that we graduate in 2 + months Josh came up with the idea that every Saturday we would try a different ethnic restaurant in Bloomington. The opportunities here are endless from Ethiopian, Asian fusion to Moroccan. So about a month ago we began and here is a short list of some of the places we have tried and would highly recommend if you ever come down and are feeling adventurous with your food choice!!
Casablanca Cafe
**Specializing in authentic Moroccan cuisine. We tried Lamb Kabobs and their special moroccan chicken. Both were delicious and highly recommended!
Ragazzi
**Best Italian food in the area! Ragazzi is a very small, family owned restaurant where on the weekends you can enjoy live music while you dine! This is also the restaurant that Josh took me the night we got engaged!
Cafe Django
**Cafe Django is an intimate Asian fusion restaurant. Josh and I had delicious Pad Thai and Broccoli Thai dishes. We had to say what level of spiciness we desired, i stayed at a safe 2.5 while Josh took a risk on a 4 (out of a 5 point scale). Both of our meals were surprisingly wonderful! I first introduced Josh to Mochi Ice cream here, if you have never tried it you are missing out!
Snow Lion Restaurant
**Snow Lion serves Tibetan cuisine. This restaurant is owned by the nephew of the Dalai Lama. I stayed safe when ordering since I havent ever experienced any Tibetan food before but, i highly enjoyed it and look forward to going back and possibly being a little more risky in my mean choice.
Japanee.
** Specializes in Japanese cuisine. We tried a variety of sushi and Josh ordered some meats with sticky rice.
Next Week we are trying Bombay House, famous in Bloomington for its Indian food so I will keep you updated on our Restaurant Adventures in Bloomington. I encourage you to come visit and try all of the yummy tastes from around the world!
